Prepare Your Home BEFORE You Sell

What does your home look like through the eyes of a Buyer?


Preparing your home before you put the FOR SALE sign in the ground, by following the below simple suggestions,could mean a quicker sale of your property and more money in your pocket.

Let's look at some suggestions:


Tips for the
Kitchen

-Make kitchens bright, clean, and attractive by painting cabinets and updating cabinet hardware
-Clean ventilating hood
-Clean the stove top and inside the oven
-Put in new flooring if floor is badly worn
-Remove excess appliances (toasters, can openers, blenders, etc) from counters surfaces, to make counters look more spacious
-Make sure the kitchen smells good with candles or potpourri


Tips for the
Bathroom

-Repair dripping faucets
-Keep towels fresh and neatly hung
-Clean stains from toilet bowls, bathtubs and sinks
-Keep mirrors spotless
-Keep a deodorizer (such as a "plug-in") in the bathroom
-Replace old, cracking, or discolored caulking around tubs and sinks

-Clean up oil drips: Most stains can be absorbed by spreading kitty litter over the area for about 24 hours. Then, simply sweep up the litter.
